Die RheinLand-Gruppe ist seit 2008 Hauptsponsor des Olympiastützpunktes Rheinland in Köln. Der Olympiastützpunkt hat als zentrale Aufgabe die Entwicklung, Förderung und Sicherung sportlicher Höchstleistung von Spitzenathleten in der Region. Viele waren bereits Teilnehmer bei Olympischen Spielen und entscheiden auf internationaler und nationaler Ebene Wettkämpfe regelmäßig für sich. Wir tragen diesen Spirit ins Haus, indem wir Besprechungsräume nach Austragungsorten olympischer Sommerspiele benannt und mit Fotos der großen Erfolgsmomente ausgestattet haben. Beim alljährlichen Fitnesstag motivieren uns Sportler des OSP mit Engagement und Begeisterung.

Since 2017, the RheinLand Versicherungsgruppe has been the official insurance partner of the flagship of German rowing. We have a common goal of "Tokyo 2020". The German Eight is an allround likeable team embodying many of the values and virtues which are also vital in business and which we at RheinLand easily identify with.

The partnership is being energized by integrating the team from the rowing centre in Dortmund into the sales and corporate activities of the RheinLand Group, such as a close partnership with a Dortmund-based insurance agency of RheinLand Versicherungen.

What began as a football tournament during RheinLand's 125th anniversary year in 2005, has now become a major sports festival for all RhineLand staff, their relatives and friends. The fitness day usually takes place on a Friday in summer and now has around 600 participants. For a whole day, young and old get their hearts pumping by participating in beach volleyball, German fitness awards, Nordic walking, baseball, fencing, rugby, climbing, cycling and much more. The RheinLand Group, with regular support and encouragement from "real" sports professionals, succeed in bringing together all corporate areas from home and abroad to compete in sporting activities.

For many years, the RheinLand Group has been one of the biggest supporters of regional sporting talent. At the turn of the millennium, the "partners of sport" became known from working shoulder to shoulder with other local organisations. Under the leadership of RheinLand, this led to the establishment in 2013 of a non-profit association for sports and education ("Partner für Sport und Bildung"). Around 35 companies are now involved financially, materially and non-materially in opening up new perspectives for talented young athletes. Many of these athletes have already returned the favour of support with an Olympic or World Championship medal. Partners also have a role in providing job opportunities for top sports talents in addition to their support for sports training and development. You might therefore come across many of the Olympic candidates later on in your job at one of the partner companies.

The annual summer Neuss Shakespeare Festival is a highlight for theatre enthusiasts. A replica of the famous London Globe Theatre is built each year at the Neuss racecourse and then used by ensembles from around the world for staging their plays. As "Friends of the Globe", the RheinLand Versicherungsgruppe sponsors this established and valued cultural asset.

The Neuss Bürger-Schützenfest marksman festival attracts more than one million visitors each year and is known far beyond the town and state borders. Around 7,500 active marksmen and musicians make for a unique spectacle. Many employees and their families are in one of the marksmen corps and actively participate in the celebrations. We help them to make the celebrations as easy as possible. RheinLand Versicherungsgruppe's association with the Neuss Schützenfest has been ongoing for generations.

In addition to sponsorship involvement in sports, culture and traditions, there is also support for many cultural institutions within the town. The RheinLand Versicherungsgruppe is also involved in providing a stable and functioning cultural life, such as the Clemens-Sels Museum, the Town Archive or the Schützenmuseum.
